Leaves are falling...time to rake
A few days ago, Aidan and I went out to play in the leaves! There was a slight breeze outside where just a few leaves fluttered to the ground...a perfect autumn day. So I bundled us up, got out 2 rakes and we raked up the leaves together...for one reason only...to jump and roll in them. Granted, there were not a lot of leaves on the ground yet, but there were just enough for Aidan.
My favorite Super Man dive!
After doing this, we came in and had some hot chocolate and snuggled together reading a good book! Doing this got me thinking about what other mommies do with their kiddos during this season. Got anything you'd like to share? I'd love to hear about them!

Oh my goodness, those are precious pictures! I haven't been able to do this with my boys yet, since our house is under construction so our back yard is a mess!
We do go to the cider mill every year and this year we will be carving a pumpkin for the first time. I can't wait!
That looks like fun! My boys love to rake up the leaves at their grandparents house and jump in them!
Great pics! =) That looks like so much fun! I bet he loved it!!
We carve pumpkins every year and try to roast hot dogs and have smores over an open fire pit at least once before it gets too cold! My boys LOVE smores!
Oh what fun!!! Sounds like you both had a blast together!! Definitely a fall tradition in the making even!
Here in CA it doesn't even feel like fall and we don't have any trees in our yard so we won't be raking leaves. But we did go to the pumpkin patch twice now and we have some pumpkins to carve this weekend so that's generally what we do every fall. Oh and roasting the seeds!!
These sound like so much fun! I think I may try a few of them!
Love the pictures!
We like to go on neighborhood walks and collect as many different leaves as we can. Then we lay them under wax paper, do crayon rubs over them (you have to rub gently), frame the outside of the wax paper with construction paper and hang them on the kitchen windows as "stain glass sun catchers."
Happy Fall Days!
